This really is a suberb holiday cottage. It is located in the middle of nowhere but within easy driving distance to lovely towns, villages and bigger cities too. Very well equipped, most comfortable beds ever! Log fire and, wait for it - a swiming pool and jaccuzzi! It's just got the lot. We love it - been before and will be back.
Thank you very much to Kate and Ian, the caring but inobtrusive owners. Mrs P, Airdrie, Lanarkshire 21 November 2010
Our second visit to this beautiful cottage, this time for 7 nights. We stayed for 3 nights in January 2010 with heavy snow last time! Excellent leisure facilities and games room, and lovely things to do and places to visit nearby. Another fantastic holiday which we all thoroughly enjoyed, hope to stay again one time soon. Mr B, GLASGOW, Strathclyde 19 October 2010
We had such a lovely time last year we came back and were not disappointed, we all want to return again soon! Ms M, Edgware 21 August 2010
The cottage totally exceeded our expectations, the location was ideal for us regarding the activities we wanted to do. We would totally recommend this cottage to anybody. We will definitely be going back. Mr. B, BENFLEET 19 July 2010
I would certainly recommend the accommodation as it is well presented and although not particularly near to a major town or city it was a well positioned in relation to all places of interest ie St Andrews, Edinburgh, Falkland etc. The cottage it's self has plenty to do if the weather is a little inclemement ie Pool, Gym, Games room and surrounding woodland walks. Mr F, BOLTON 12 April 2010
We thought the holiday property was outstanding and cannot suggest anything to improve the experience! We will be recommending this holiday to family, friends and others as everyone in our party was most impressed with the accommodation. Mr R, BONNYRIGG, Midlothian 09 March 2010
A perfect holiday for people wanting to get away from it all, but with facilities to entertain the kids. The property was excellent! Mrs D, MORPETH, Northumberland 20 February 2010
We thoroughly enjoyed our winter break here. We specifically chose the cottage for the facilities (pool, gym, games room), and we were not disappointed. We were also impressed by the location which is very rural with a lovely outlook to the hills and forest. It was a lovely treat and we would consider returning to this cottage. Mr M, BERWICK-UPON-TWEED 09 February 2010
The holiday was perfect! Mrs R, GLASGOW, West Dunbartonsh 13 January 2010
We have just returned from an amazing short break at Horse Mill Cottage. Fantastic accommodation and facilities and our kids loved the pool and games room, they didn’t want to go anywhere else! We will be booking again for later on this year, our thanks to Kate and Ian.
Mrs R, GLASGOW, West Dunbartonshire 12 January 2010
We all went as one big family and had both cottages. The snow was unbelievable and at least a foot deep, on the first day we got stuck on the hill into the cottages and Ian was very helpful, it was late and he was out with the grit and shovel. The cottages are beautiful and the swimming pool was fantastic. Because of the weather we were unable to go out for walks and to explore the local villiage, however this did not affect us as there is plenty of things to do on the complex, we didnt even get in the games room/gym till day 3 as we were too busy in the pool. Ian came and gave us sledges and we went sledging several times, we came back and booked to go again next year! Thanks to Kate and Ian for a fantastic holiday! Mrs A, ST. HELENS, Merseyside 31 December 2009
The cottage is lovely and very well equipped. The pool, jacuzzi, games room and gym offered something above the rest as these facilities are shared by only two cottages. The owner is friendly and very helpful, lives on site but not intrusive. The cottage sits in in a woodland setting and obviously a car is essential but it is centrally located to some lovely towns and villages. Our family loved it and I'm sure will return. Thank you Hoseasons and to the owner for a wonderful winter break. Mrs P, AIRDRIE, Lanarkshire 23 November 2009
We would recommend, and have, and they have been too. They loved it as much as we did and we are going for a third time next year. Mr W, GLASGOW 11 November 2009
This cottage has got to be the best I have ever stayed at, well done to Hoseasons and to the owners.
Thank you Mr H, Warminster, Wiltshire 29 September 2009
Lovely and quiet but local to shops within 15 minutes, fantastic walks in the forest and outstanding views. Onsite leisure facilities excellent. Plenty to do from the site in Perth and all within an hours drive. Mrs B, Newport, Gwent 16 August 2009
Some holiday cottages are great as holiday cottages, but this one would be great as a home! It was so well equipped and beautifully decorated with the added advantage of a swimming pool and games room. The location was perfect: central but remote. MR D, ILMINSTER, Somerset 22 July 2009
The accommodation and facilities are second to none. I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone, especially families - absolutely perfect! Mrs G, POOLE 10 June 2009
